Awards
ANZAC Fellowship (first recipient) awarded by the Prime Ministers of New Zealand and Australia to those, "...preferably under 40 years of age, who have made an outstanding contribution in science, the arts, education, business...."
The story:
At 27, of course I was too young to have made "an outstanding contribution". Barely out of university and only 12 months into my first job after graduaton the selectors, inspite of there being 83 applicants, gave it to me. And not even an interview! It took me years to work out why. But what I discovered by accident was how to create ones reality. Those I have shared the principles with and who have applied them have manifested extrordinary outcomes from building new businesses, stepping into the "right" careers to positively transforming a city.

Award commemorating the United Nations Decade For Women.
My company was one of three receiving this award from the New Zealand Parliament for being a "leader in providing equal employment opportunities for women"
The story:
In my early thirties and running my own company, I was frustrated with the lack-luster performance of some of my managers and the high-handed way they were treating their staff. The problem was fixed when I appointed the managers' secretaries as the managers. The tardy managers disappeared and some female secretairies left, those who remained were soon producing record breaking results. By "accident" we ended up with an even spread of woman in all levels of the company qualifying us for the award.
